A remarkable humble man, fantastic cook, family and friends will miss him dearly.
Ken was a Husband, Dad, Granddad and a Great Granddad. His proudest moments include serving in the war, giving away his granddaughter and also his daughter (check out the video)
Like so many other thousands, thoughtlessly joined the Royal Navy and went to battle against the Nazi's at the age of 17, to make a better future for the world. Saw 3 epic battles - including the sinking of the Bismark.
I wanted to forever have a place in cyber world for people to visit - no matter where in the world they are.
90 wonderful years of life to celebrate.

Thoughts
I didn't know 'Grandad' but my memory of him is the look of absolute pride on the day he walked his grandaughter Claire down the aisle, and gave her away....He didn't take his eyes off her! Very precious memories!

Granddad
I heard so much about “Granddad” before I actually met him. I started dating his Granddaughter Claire in April 2008. I was told about his cooking, how he used to walk for his paper, the steepness of his road and how he was a WWII veteran.
Claire said she tried to visit him as often as possible, twice a year maybe.

When I finally met Granddad, it was a great pleasure – not just because he is a Manchester United fan. For me, this man is one of many thousands who was willing to make the biggest sacrifice for his country and could recall it like it was yesterday.
Needless to say, our trips to see Granddad (and Harry) were no longer limited to a couple of times a year. We tried to get there for long weekends, surprise visits - not only for Granddad, but to see other family as well.
